The event at Cougar Cupboard was a unique fusion of financial education and bingo fun. TDECU’s Financial Wellness Program Manager, Chris Soriano, conducted an insightful workshop on credit and budgeting, while the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, Hugo Lagarda hosted an exciting bingo game. Students had the chance to win kitchen appliances, TDECU merchandise, and even tickets to the UH vs UT football game.

  3. Credit Score Awareness: 23% more students grasped the factors affecting credit scores, empowering them to make informed financial decisions.

Accessible Food Support: The Cougar Cupboard provides a safe, accessible students for students to access up to 30 pounds of groceries weekly, ensuring they have enough to eat.
