your inactive or dormant TDECU account

Ready to take action and remain a TDECU Member?

Our Members are important to us and we want to make sure you have all the right information to make an informed decision about your TDECU account. If your mailing address, email address and phone number are up-to-date, we’ll do our best to contact you before closing your account.

If you haven’t conducted a transaction on your account, or contacted us within the past 2 years, we will set your account to an inactive status.
To restore your account back to an active status, you can:

If your account continues without activity for 3 years, we will place your account in a dormant status with restricted access. If this occurs, please visit your closest Member Center or call us at (800) 839-1154 before your individual state law requires us to send your funds your state comptroller.

Are you a joint on a family member’s account? We recommend taking similar steps to keep those accounts active as well.

Did we already send your funds to your state Comptroller?

We’re sorry we missed the opportunity to keep your accounts active! If your account was escheated, please visit unclaimed.org to retrieve your funds.

If you are still interested in taking advantage of all the membership benefits TDECU has to offer, check out our latest product offerings and rates. You’re important to us and we’ll always be here to help you on your financial journey.
