Buc-ee's Platinum Mastercard® Frequently Asked Questions

How old do you need to be to apply for a credit card?

You must be at least 18 years of age to apply for a credit card.

What information does TDECU require when I apply for a credit card?

You’ll need to provide information such as your Social Security number, date of birth, employment information and income details.

How long will it take to receive my credit card?

You will receive your card 7 to 10 business days after you're approved.

What is an APR?

Annual Percentage Rate. Credit cards state the interest rate as an annual rate. This indicates how expensive a transaction will be if you finance it over that time. To avoid paying interest, you can take advantage of your grace period by making your payments on time.

What is the grace period?

The grace period is the time during which you’re allowed to pay your credit card bill without having to pay interest, as long as you pay your balance in full. This is a period between the end of a billing cycle and the date your payment is due. TDECU’s grace period is 25 days.

Do TDECU credit cards charge annual fees?

No, none of our credit cards charge annual fees.
