We Support Our Community.

TDECU is committed to helping our community thrive. Through the TDECU Cares Foundation, we invest in our community by providing grants to local organizations that assist individuals in the regions where TDECU has a presence. We support initiatives and projects that have meaningful and long-lasting positive impact within the communities we serve. We would love to hear from you on how to support your organization, program, or project – just click the “Submit a New Application” button to get started.

Criteria for Grants:

TDECU improves the lives of members of our community, by investing in local organizations, programs, and resources that focus on education, community enrichment, and health & well-being. To qualify for a grant, your organization must be a registered and current 501(c)(3) non-profit or qualifying non-governmental organization with an emphasis on programmatic support. Special events and capital campaigns are generally not considered.

Based on the TDECU Cares Foundation’s strategic focus and giving guidelines (link) will consider grant applications that focus on our three priority areas:

Education

-Financial Education
-STREAM Enrichment
-TDECU Student Member Scholarship Fund

Community Enrichment

-Life Skills Development for Youth
-Workforce Development
-Community Revitalization

Health & Well-Being

-Emergency & Prevention Services
-Meal Services

Priority will be given to organizations that align with TDECU Cares Foundation’s strategic focus areas and organizations that provide volunteer opportunities for TDECU employees.

You must apply online. This will help ensure your request contains all information necessary for a thorough review and prompt consideration.

We will review proposals from 501(c)(3) organizations, educational institutions or governmental organizations where TDECU has a presence during the grant cycles below. We encourage organizations to submit requests during the cycle that works best for their budget.
