Goodbye, Max. Hello, Maxine.

There’s a new, friendly voice at TDECU. Her name is Maxine and she is available 24/7 to help you conveniently access your account information.

You can access the telephone banking system by dialing the same numbers you are accustomed to using:

  • 979.297.0420
  • 800.839.0420
  • 800.839.1154

When you call, Maxine will greet you on the line with this message:

“Thank you for calling Maxine, your new, automated teller system. If this is your first time to call, please enter the last four digits of your Social Security Number when asked for your personal identification number.”

You will then be prompted to change your PIN number.

“I’m Maxine, your automated teller. For our locations and hours of operation, visit us online at For our deposit and loan rates, visit us online at At any time during this call press zero to speak to a customer service representative.”

From there, Maxine will guide you along in conducting all your financial business.

In addition to listening to the new prompts, when interacting with Maxine for the first time after the upgrade, you’ll need the following information:

  1. Your TDECU Member Number. (Reference the letter you received which contains information about your TDECU Member Number.)

  2. Your telephone banking personal identification number (PIN).

    As a result of the upgrade, your PIN will be automatically reset to the last four digits of your Social Security Number. After the upgrade, when using telephone banking for the first time, you’ll be prompted to select a new PIN.

  3. Your TDECU Account Number(s) for each of your accounts.

    After the upgrade, you will receive information about your new TDECU Account Number(s).
