OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE OR TRANSACTION NECESSARY

1. ELIGIBILITY: This promotion is open only to certain natural person members of Texas Dow Employees Credit Union (“TDECU” or “Sponsor”) and certain natural persons eligible for TDECU membership.  Must be a legal resident of Texas 18 or older as of date of entry.  Visit a TDECU branch or call 800-839-1154 to determine if you are eligible for membership.  Employees, officers, directors, and board members of TDECU; agents, contractors, and volunteers of TDECU; employees, officers, directors, and volunteers of the Guerra DeBerry Coody company or D.L. Blair, Inc. (Collectively, the “Promotional Parties”); employees, officers, directors and volunteers of TDECU’s and the Promotional Parties’ respective parent companies, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and of TDECU’s and the Promotional Parties’ advertising and promotion agencies; the immediate family members (mother, father, sister, brother, husband, wife, daughter, son, step-father, step-mother, step-daughter, step-son, step‑brother, step-sister, half-brother, half-sister) of any of the foregoing persons living in the same household; and persons who do not possess a valid Social Security number (or ITIN) are not eligible.  All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.  Void where prohibited by law.

2. HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:  Sweepstakes registration is not required.  Eligible TDECU members with a qualifying personal checking account will automatically receive one sweepstakes entry into each daily drawing.  Due to systems migration issues, former San Jacinto Area Credit Union accounts are not eligible as qualifying accounts for this promotion.  Former San Jacinto Area Credit Union accounts, estate accounts, business accounts, trust accounts, guardianship accounts, Social Security representative payee accounts, benefit/memorial accounts, and non-profit accounts are not eligible as qualifying personal checking accounts for purposes of the sweepstakes

Additional sweepstakes entries are available to eligible TDECU members with a qualifying personal checking account who complete any of the following: 

A)     ONLINE BILL PAY:  TDECU personal checking members will receive ten (10) additional entries into the sweepstakes drawing for the day each TDECU online bill pay is completed from 4/1/12 through 6/30/12 (the “Promotional Period”). 

B)     DEBIT/ATM CARD:  TDECU personal checking members will receive one (1) additional entry into the sweepstakes drawing for the day each TDECU debit or ATM card transaction is completed from 4/1/12 through 6/30/12.

C)     ACTUAL DAILY BALANCE:  For each day from 4/1/12 through 6/30/12, members will receive one (1) additional entry into that day’s sweepstakes drawing for each $100 in Actual Daily Balance maintained in their TDECU personal checking account.  E.g., if your Actual Daily Balance on 5/1/12 is $75, you will not receive an additional sweepstakes entry for your Actual Daily Balance; however, if your Actual Daily Balance on 5/2/12 is $640, you will receive 6 additional sweepstakes entries for the drawing associated with that day.  Actual Daily Balances under $100 will not qualify for an additional sweepstakes entry for the drawing associated with that day.  Actual Daily Balance to be determined by TDECU based on the balance in your account as of 11am each calendar day.

D)     E-STATEMENTS:  For each day from 4/1/12 through 6/30/12, TDECU personal checking members will receive ten (10) additional entries into that day’s sweepstakes drawing when signed up to receive TDECU e-Statements.  E.g., if you sign up to receive e-Statements for the 61 day period beginning 5/1/12 through 6/31/12, you will receive 10 additional entries in each of 61 daily drawings. 

E)     AUTOMOBILE LOAN:  For each day from 4/1/12 through 6/30/12, TDECU personal checking members will receive ten (10) additional entries into that day’s sweepstakes drawing for each active TDECU auto loan in good standing.  E.g., if you have 2 automobile loans throughout the duration of the promotion, you will receive a total of 20 additional entries in each daily drawing.

F)     MORTGAGE LOAN:  For each day from 4/1/12 through 6/30/12, TDECU personal checking members will receive fifty (50) additional entries into that day’s sweepstakes drawing for each active TDECU mortgage loan in good standing.  E.g., if you have 1 mortgage loan throughout the duration of the promotion, you will receive a total of 50 additional entries in each daily drawing.

3. NO PURCHASE OR TRANSACTION NECESSARY:  To enter without purchase or transaction, eligible persons may hand-print on a plain piece of 3” x 5” paper your complete name, physical mailing address (no P.O. Boxes), date of birth (MM/DD/YYYY) and daytime/evening telephone numbers.  Mail your submission in an envelope no larger than a #10 (business-size envelope) with 1st-class postage affixed, to: TDECU $1,000 A Day Entries, P.O. Box 5667, Blair, NE 68009-5667.  Eligible mailed entries received within 7 business days of a banking entry date (i.e., the date one could enter via Rule #2) will receive 42 sweepstakes entries into the drawing associated with that banking entry date and all subsequent banking entry dates for the remainder of the Promotional Period.  Mailed entries must be received by 7/11/12 to be eligible for the final drawing.  Limit one (1) entry per outer mailing envelope.  No mechanically reproduced entries permitted.  Illegible entries are void.  Not responsible for lost, late, mutilated, postage due, misdirected entries or entries not received in time for any random drawing.  

4.    RANDOM DRAWINGS:  A total of (91) random drawings will be conducted, one for each day of the promotion (i.e., 4/1/12 through 6/30/12.)  Random drawings will be conducted approximately 12 weekdays after each banking entry date (i.e., the date one could enter via Rule #2), from among all eligible entries received for each drawing.  Drawings will be conducted by D. L. Blair, Inc. (the “judges”), an independent judging organization whose decisions are final.  TDECU will notify potential winners by telephone using the phone number(s) associated with the potential winners account (or hand-printed on mail-in entry).  TDECU will make 3 attempts to contact each potential Daily Prize winner via phone within 3 business days from the date winner selection was accomplished.  If Sponsor is unable to reach a potential winner within this time frame, he/she will be disqualified and an alternate will be selected, time permitting.  No telephone messages will be left.  Potential winners will be required to visit their local branch to obtain prize verification documents (i.e., Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability and, if legally permissible, a Publicity Release.)  Such documents must be completed on-site within (7) calendar days from the date of telephone notification, as determined by TDECU.  Potential winners residing 50 miles or more (as determined by TDECU) from his/her nearest a TDECU branch will be contacted by express overnight carrier and will be required to complete and return prize verification documents within 7 days of attempted delivery of same.  Noncompliance within these time periods or return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification by TDECU and an alternate winner will be selected, time permitting.  Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received for each daily drawing.  Limit one (1) prize per household per 30 day period.

5. PRIZES & VALUE:  91 Daily Prizes (1 available each day) – $1,000.  Prize funds will be deposited into the primary members TDECU personal checking account approximately 2-weeks after winner verification documents are received and verified; if winner does not have a TDECU personal checking account, a check will be mailed within the same time period.  Total value of all prizes available to be won is $91,000.

6. GENERAL RULES:  No substitution, assignment, or transfer of prize by winners permitted.  Winners will be responsible for all federal, state and local income taxes and may be required to certify their Taxpayer Identification Number on IRS Form W-9 if requested.  By accepting prize, winners and their heirs, executors and administrators release and agree to hold the Sponsor, Guerra DeBerry Coody, D.L. Blair, Inc., and the respective directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, advisers, and assigns of all of the foregoing parties harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of winning, receipt of, or use of a prize.  Winners assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize.  Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to the Sponsor and its agencies to use winner's name, photograph and/or likeness for purposes of advertising, promotion, or trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.  By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges/TDECU, which are final.  In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency in any sweepstakes materials,the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control.  All material submitted becomes the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned.  Sponsor and the other Promotional Parties are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the sweepstakes, or in the announcement of the prizes.  In no event will more than the stated number of prizes be awarded.  Claims may not be resolved through any form of class action. The Promotional Parties’are not responsible for any technical problems, delays in processing transactions, non-receipt of a transaction, computer, electronic malfunction, human error, malfunctions of telephone lines, computer systems, servers, providers, hardware, software, lost or unavailable network connections or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission or any combination thereof.  The Sponsor and the additional Promotional Parties are not responsible for any damage to any participant’s computer system, software related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this promotion.  CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW.  SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.  Entries that are suspected of being fraudulent (e.g., those using robotic, automatic, programmed or similar methods of participation) will be disqualified, based on determinations made solely by Sponsor.  Sponsor reserves the right to prohibit the participation of an individual if fraud, abuse, or tampering is suspected, if winner verification documents are obtained or submitted illegitimately or if an entrant fails to comply with any requirement of participation as stated herein or with any provision in these Official Rules.  Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, modify any method of entry if fraud, abuse, misconduct or technical failures inherent to that method of entry destroy the integrity of the program; or if a computer virus, bug or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security or proper administration of the program as determined by Sponsor/judging agency/administrator, in their sole discretion.  In the event of termination of any method of entry, all remaining drawings will be conducted from among all eligible entries received from such method of entry prior to termination (of such method of entry) and all remaining entries received from non-terminated methods of entry.  Proof of submitting entry will not be deemed proof of receipt by Sponsor. 

7. WINNERS:  To receive a list of winners by email, send an email to winners.list.request@dlblairsweeps.com with WINNERS 7238 as the subject line.  Requests must be received by 7/13/12.  Winners list will be sent after all of the Daily Prize winners have been verified.
