 TDECU brings convenient service to members living, working or visiting Houston, Austin and many other cities nationwide. The credit union is a part of the Texas Credit Union Service Centers program. This program gives you access to your TDECU accounts at CU Service Centers and at other credit unions across the country. CU Service Centers are offices shared by several different credit unions who work together to provide members more convenient access to products and services. Individual credit unions, where you can go to complete your TDECU transactions, are also a part of this network. To transact business at a CU Service Center or other credit union in the network, simply identify yourself as a TDECU member, provide your account number and a photo ID. To find a CU Service Center or credit union in the network, look for the CU Service Centers sign and/or logo shown.
The standard services available to TDECU members at a Credit Union Service Center include:
- Share deposits/withdrawals
- Loan payments, interviews, closings
and advances
- Balance inquiries
- Extended weekday & Saturday hours
- Transfers within members' accounts
- Travelers checks, money orders, notary
and fax services
- Check cashing
- 24-hour ATM and night deposit
Service Center and Outlet Transaction Costs and Limits
The costs of doing business at the Service Centers may differ from using a TDECU office. There are also various cash limits for some transactions such as withdrawals and check cashing. Additionally, services such as safe deposit boxes, investments, new accounts, IRAs, account research and problem resolution are not available at the Service Centers. Some of the standard services however, may not be offered at all Service Centers. It is best to call before you visit one of these offices to determine any costs or limits.
