Friends of Consumer Freedom (FOCF) is a non-profit charitable 501c3 corporation established to provide resources for the support of consumer financial education, development of innovative financial tools for consumers, leadership development, and disaster relief efforts.

FOF Provides:
- An opportunity for consumers to become eligible for TDECU financial products and services when they may not be otherwise. Renewal of FOF membership is not necessary to retain TDECU membership. †
- Resources to assist with financial education to help all consumers achieve a better quality of life, directly benefiting the community in which they live.
- An opportunity for businesses to support financial education and access to TDECU resources for consumers.
Friends of the Foundation benefits include:

- Invitation to FOF annual meeting
- Member renewal notification

† TDECU membership can be extended through FOCF to persons who reside, work or attend school within a specified geographical boundary. For more details, contact TDECU.
*All members will have access to Friends of Consumer Freedom website at www.foundationfriends.org which will include financial education resources and links to helpful financial consumer education opportunities, consumer financial assistance groups such as Consumer Credit Counseling Service, information on credit unions by geographic region, etc.
