Hurricane Ike: TDECU Alert (Wednesday 9:00 AM)

As Hurricane Ike approaches the Texas Gulf Coast, we're watching closely and making the necessary preparations to ensure our members continue to receive service from their credit union.  We'll be keeping this blog updated throughout. We've learned that, effective 6:00 AM today (Wednesday, September 10, 2008), Brazoria County Judge Joe King has issued a voluntary evacuation order for the entire county. More importantly at this time, there's also a mandatory evacuation for the coastal zip zone 77541 (Freeport) and special needs evacuation will begin at 10:00 a.m. today. What TDECU is doing:
  • Our Freeport Branch is not open for business.  Other branch closings will be posted here as they happen and at www.tdecu.org.
  • Online banking and telephone banking will continue to operate throughout Hurricane Ike.
  • Members are encouraged to get cash at any of the ATMs in the AllPoint ATM network or at any of our open branches. Call 800-809-0308 to find one of the 35,000 ATMs on our member network.
