TDECU Scholarship Program

Each year TDECU awards scholarships to the areas most promising students who have chosen to continue down the path of higher education. Our scholarship program was first created by the credit union’s Board of Directors 14 years ago to help our members secure a brighter future. The program was designed to help deserving high school seniors and persons entering college for the first time, who are also TDECU members, pay for the cost of attending college, university, or trade school. The scholarship awards are based on both academic performance and leadership skills.

The $1000 scholarship is paid in two increments:

$500 for the Fall Semester and $500 for the Spring Semester (if the student has the required fall semester grades).

The deadline for members to submit the scholarship applications for the 2012 program is Friday, March 23, 2012.
